Happy Spring - 4 Giveaways!

Well now, my word- doesn't time just fly by?

Here the first day of spring has passed
(was last Friday)
 and I completely ignored it.

And it appears as though I am ignoring all of you, too.

(Things really have been more than a little hectic around here.)

So to apologize for my absence, warmly welcome spring -
and to let you know how much I *adore* you
I am having a little giveaway for 4 lucky readers!

1.) A tiny plushie garden bunny with his shovel
sitting in a cute little metal watering can.

2.)  A vintage pink Daffodil linen tea towel!

3.) A set of two matching picture frames.

These are cute, but both are shabby/chippy.

4.) And lastly a pretty set of floral tea or coffee mugs
that are microwave and dishwasher safe.

Neither chippy or shabby.

Unfortunately due to the high $$$ cost of shipping
I have to keep TWO of these giveaways within the continental US-
the frames and the mugs.

So if you are from outside the US and wish to win
either the garden bunny or the tea towel, do let me know
via the comment section!

Sorry I have to do it this way,
it's the only way I know I can afford
to have these giveaways.

To enter, all I ask is that you leave a comment below...
letting me know you wish to
enter this giveaway and which giveaway you'd prefer!

Of course I would hope and wish you become a
follower of this blog, but it isn't mandatory to win.

Giveaway ends Sunday March 30th.

Extended to Sat. April 5th!

Also don't forget that if you don't have a
blog please write my email and let me know
your email address so I can contact you
if you should win!

As always, thank you so much for your visit -
it really means a great deal to me.

St. Patrick's Tea Party!

I hosted an afternoon tea party
for my two sisters and my three young nieces
the day before (Sunday) St. Patrick's Day.

Not ALL my shamrock china was used,
but some of it was, of course!

If you somehow missed my last couple shamrock posts
I hope you will check them out to see lots of shamrock pieces.

St. Patrick's Day isn't just a single day for us,
 oh, no never!

The menu:

Cream of Asparagus Soup

Salad Greens with Strawberries

Chicken Salad with Almonds
Egg Salad with Dill
Cucumber Rounds with Herbed Cream Cheese
Bacon Cheese Mini Quiche
Broccoli Mini Quiche

Lemon Crisps Tea Cookies
Mini Cream Puffs
Brownie Bites with Candy Frosting
Shamrock Sugar Cookies (sis brought, thanks!)
Rice Krispie Treats
Pistachio Crunch*

Twinging's Earl Grey and
 H & S "Paris" tea was served.

* My friend Sharyn gave as a favor for a wonderful
tea she had recently that I can't wait to share with you!

Sharyn's tea party was Saturday, and mine was Sunday
so I really had to rush and put together this
party of mine rather quickly when I got home around 5pm.

My party was at noon so I found myself really
running around like a madwoman. : - )

I also had to keep the menu to food
the girls would eat so I didn't get too fancy or weird.
They pretty much ate everything, too.

Except the middle niece absolutely hates cucumbers for some odd reason.
So her cucumber rounds were just cheese rounds, lol.

I love any opportunity
to get out my green glass teacups and use them.

The favors were in shamrock gift box bags.

For my two sisters:

Bling-y emerald green shamrock post earrings
Green votive Yankee Candle
Ceramic hand painted shamrock ornament

For my eldest niece:

Same earrings as above
Shamrock gourmet chocolates
Mini shamrock notepad

For my two younger nieces:

Bling-y shamrock nail stickers
LOTS of chocolate candies
Mini shamrock notepad

And yes, we used my pretty shamrock teaspoons
that you have seen before. : - )

But the *very* best part of the tea
were having these three beauties as guests.

Looking forward to sharing my
 afternoon shamrock tea party pics
from yesterday soon.

Have a fun and safe day, everyone!

(We have plans to smile all day & night long!)

A Shamrock Tea Table

Hello to you all and greetings to March!

Not sure where all my time went,
but it is time to share my shamrock tea china!

Shamrocks, shamrocks, everywhere!

Please grab yourself a tea cup and join me!

If you enjoy a sweeter taste, be sure to grab a
lump or two of shamrock sugar cubes!

I have been collecting shamrock things for years.

I even have china shamrock spoons. : - )

They're perfect to use with these little cordials;
the just-right-size for pistachio moussse!

Here is my very first shamrock china ever;
a wonderfully sweet gift from my eldest daughter.

She knew how I'd love a shamrock teacup!

I have found quite a few different ones over the years!

Here's a few things put together that make a happy little
St. Patrick's Day Irish vignette!

Wishing you all the luck of the Irish!

(And of course, if you are Irish, you are lucky enough!)

I am having my REAL tea on Sunday but didn't want to miss the
St. Patrick's Day crawl with all this shamrock china to share.

I have shamrock stuff all over the house and even outside.

As always, thank you for your visit!
