Christmas Morning Biscotti!

I know you are all so busy at this crunch time!

I have a quick, inexpensive last-minute gift idea for you!

CHRISTMAS MORNING BISCOTTI!

Who wouldn't want a simple crispy crunchy
 "for dippin' and dunkin" biscuit
in her/his tea or coffee to start the morning off to a good start?

These easy-to-make double baked super crunchy goodies
are the perfect answer!

I was blog chatting with my friend Diana from over at
Nana Takes a Break who shared she loves using card boxes as gift boxes.

That gave me the idea of re-purposing my own
Christmas Card boxes as the perfect fitting biscotti gift box!

And there's even a bonus - the boxes already have the cards
attached to the front!

I only buy Hobby Lobby Christmas cards -
best selection of religious cards, great value and
they have the absolute BEST BOXES!

They're sturdy and well made and quite easy to
use after they serve their purpose holding your cards.

They also make great memento boxes for yearly
cards received, with notes and pictures to save
for next year or saving as a set with the year date on them!

The smaller boxes are good to hold the shorter smaller biscotti
one may usually find pre-made in some stores.

I cannot vouch for their flavor 'cuz I love to make them.
(And I know then exactly what's in them - with no preservative!)

They already last a long while because they're so dry.

My two favorite recipes for this season:

and

White Chocolate Cranberry Biscotti

And of course I like to share my sweet grand all dressed up to see Santa!

All she asked for is pink Converse chuck shoes.....after giving him 2 big hugs.

  1. So pretty and such a festive presentation. That idea of Diana’s was a good one.

I certainly hope that Santa was listening. 😉 She is darling.

I’m here for menu ideas for tea. I have invited two friends for tea tomorrow and things are not quite well planned. 🙃

  10. Michele, your little granddaughter is a darling! So fun being a grandmother, isn't it? Yes, those card boxes come in handy and like you said, they are already trimmed up for you. The biscotti looks wonderfully festive. My hubby loves to dunk his goodies. I prefer not to because I don't like crumbs in my beverage. Thank you for your visit and have a Merry Christmas and a healthy and Happy New Year! Christmas blessings...Sandi

  13. Michele, what a great idea! I have a difficult time tossing a pretty box into the recycling bin, but I can't always find a use for them. And I love to make my biscotti small, afternoon tea size I call it! Yours look so beautiful. Mine are stone plain, no icing or sprinkles. Maybe next time. Cranberry-Orange is one of my favorite combinations for anything; so why not biscotti!
