Pretty Pink Valentine Decor

Well, St. Valentine's Day has come and gone for another year
but I couldn't stand the thought of putting my romantic pinks
away for another year till I shared just a few of my pretties.

I have used red many times over the years,
but this year I did subtle, I did less, and I did soft pretty pinks.

I don't know, perhaps I used only pink this time
because usually it is snowing in February here in Ohio;
this time it was warm..... reminding me of sweet spring
just around the corner!

I had a pretty tablescape for six all ready for
a lovely afternoon tea that never happened.

Life has me so busy lately, and I am sorry for that,
as I so love to host an afternoon tea for my friends.

I grab a cuppa on the go
or sip while working these days.

I must remedy that soon....spring is around the corner....
oh, truly that is the very best of tea party seasons.....
at least for us pink lovers!

As always, thank you for visiting!

~Michele

  4. Oh so pretty- I do love pink! We've had such a mild winter compared to the recent past and I'm praying for a smooth transition into spring. Perhaps with positive thinking and images like these we'll get there sooner than later! Happy almost Spring!

  10. Hi Michele, What a lovely post sharing your pretty pinks. Your china is gorgeous! It is hard to put them away isn't it? I started today to bring out some spring treasures. Not Easter yet, but I did do some spring decorating and this year I am adding pink again.
It just seems the year for it!! We are heading into some 80 degrees days ahead here in Texas but rain is on the way first. Spring is coming!!
Have a beautiful weekend and thank you for stopping by and your kind comment.
    Blessings. xo

  26. Love these soft pinks (very Rachel Ashwell, don't you think?), and your vintage teawares are simply charming. The new issue of Tea Time features a tea party using vintage wares, and it looks like you have easily pulled together a similar spread yourself!
