Flowers and Teacup Pink Saturday

Happy 7th Anniversary to
PINK SATURDAY!

My daughter moved a few months ago to the cutest little cottage house
and look what she found recently growing in her garden!

She took this pic from her camera phone -
I have never seen a more beautiful unique rose!

What a nice "house warming" gift from nature, huh?

And right now it is pink peony season around here.

Is there a sweeter flower anywhere?

And it's arrival came just in time to share
for this very special Linky Party!

Of course a pretty old teacup
with a its little lovely touch of pink
is always welcome on Pink Saturdays!

HAPPY 7th ANNIVERSARY
Pink Saturday!

(Congrats, Bev!)

Wishing for many more parties to come!

  4. Beautiful photos, Michele. I have never, in my life, seen a rose like that- NEVER! It is just gorgeous and kind of startling! Peonies are one of my very favorites. My grandmother had them outside her house along the back side and they were always just beautiful. She was such a plain little woman but she loved "fancy flowers". It always makes me smile to see them. xo Diana

  5. Happy Anniversary and best wishes for continued success in all of your ventures. The rose from your daughter's garden is exquisite, I've never seen one like that before. Last week was probably the best week out of the season for my peonies to be at their prime. The house we live in now was built in the late 1940s. Imagine my surprise at our first spring here when I noticed that the entire east side of the house was abloom with 10 peony bushes! They are gorgeous! I have some pink (like yours) pale whisper pink, white and my favorite, ruby.

  12. My goodness, that's one of the most spectacular rose blossoms I've ever seen! And I am so enamored of your peonies! I transplanted some from my parents' garden several years ago but they've never bloomed here. May have to move them elsewhere and see if they will come to life.

  17. Most of my roses are inherited and so I know the pleasure of enjoying a ready made garden. Such a gorgeous variety this one is. I am all envy of your beautiful peonies! They don't grow here, and now I will have to go searching for some! Happy days!

  25. Hi Michele, and happy spring! That rose is amazing! I've never seen one like it. Your peonies are beautiful too and don't you just love the fragrance? Our peonies are done already, it seems we are a bit ahead of schedule on our plantings. I like your teacup today too. So feminine. Hope you have a wonderful week!
