Sweet Baby in a Pink Hat

Greetings to everyone!

Just popping in to share an adorable pic of the grand
in a sweet pink gingham and white sun hat
touching grass for the first time.

She just turned 8 months.

She has fattened up beautifully and is the picture of health.

She has two bottom teeth, is crawling and occassionally
pulling herself up to a standing position.

She giggles and is so happy - and sooooooooo reminds me
of her sweet and funny momma when she was a baby!

Like the way she sleeps once she learned to roll over.

(Just exactly like her momma when she was this size.)

I just love her cute pink pig pajamas!

Here she is in pink again- 'tho another grainy pic sorry
 - back lighting is awful in pics-
wearing a cute pink bib with bugs on it.

Some of you may remember her nickname is
"Baby Bug."

I snapped this pic fast with my phone the other day
because I caught her in the beginning stages about to make
what we lovingly refer to as "poop face."

i just ABSOLUTELY adore that face!

Her lips disappear and she kinda stares.

Oh my, yes, we do know what that means, don't we?

Let's just say that I don't think potty training
will be difficult with this one, either.

We're appreciating your prayers lately with our sad troubles.

And to top it off: yesterday I think I broke my toe.

Please: keep those wonderful prayers coming, we need them.

XXOOXXOOXXOO

I hope you all are having a wonderful Lenten Season.

I miss you, and hopefully will be back soon.

Until then, enjoy springtime!

God bless!

Michele

  1. You have a way with words that describe bavbes in general...all their cute ways. And your little darling is precious. We are both grandmothers now and I'm loving our connection. I drool over mine and I feel so much like my daughters baby is a replica of her and a second time around for me as a mom of sorts.

Love to you and your babes, Michele!

  3. She is just a cutie-pie, Michele. Those babies just add so much to our lives as we see the circle of it continue. My youngest daughter slept just like that until she was about 2 or so with her butt up in the air like that. It always made me smile.

Keeping your family in my prayers this morning- xo Diana
ps-have another prayer request for a blogging family on my blog today if you get a chance.

  9. You granddaughter is so pretty and I love all the picture of her. Such a blessing.

I am sorry but in reading your post you mention about the sickness, what happened? I went back through your posts but couldn't find out anything. Please let me know. I am so sorry.

Those darn toes can really be so pain full. I have one that seems to catch on everything.

Take care and I hope everything is okay now.

    Hugs,
    Mary

  11. Happy Pink Saturday, Michele. I am always thrilled when you share your darling Baby Bug with us. I know how it feels to be in love with your grandchild. My grandson is 18 years old, and he will be going away to college in the fall. And, I am still madly in love with him.

My, it doesn't rain but it pours sometimes!! I do hope that you are resting and maybe just treating yourself to a good book and tea. All the work will be there tomorrow and the next day and the next . . . If I was there, I'd wait on you! Do take good care, my friend, and I will pray for sunnier days. xo Deborah ps I am home now, so hope to catch up.
