Pretty Perfect Pink Petals

I thought I would share an old picture of one of my teapots holding the most perfect bouquet of pretty light pink roses.

Don't they look almost fake they are so perfect?! I used to buy all my fresh flowers (when our garden was sleeping over winter) for my entertaining at a local florist. She really treated her repeat customers especially nice. I bought 3 dozen of these long stemmed beauties that day because they wowed me so much! I hated to cut so many of them down to size for the teapot - those perfect extra long stems were awesome, but alas, this is the shorter look I needed for that small table.

I gave each guest one of the super long uncut ones to take home as a parting gift.

Unfortunately that favorite wonderful florist ended up selling her business and moving away. After all these years (and certainly when I run across sweet old pictures like this one to remind me) I think of her and wonder how she is fairing......and just hope against hope that she is still happily selling her pretty pink petals somewhere.

Heading on over to How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday!
