Autumn Pics with Tea Theme

Many of you adore all things tea related
and I am no exception!

So today I thought I'd put together a post with some
of my favorite autumn pics with tea themes in them.

For no other reason save sharing some
 pretty eye candy
on such a lovely fall day.

I have been so blessed to have such
lovely autumn china.

I have been collecting fine tea china for many years.

But I love autumn so much I also tend to buy
hardy ceramic cups in warm fall colors, too!

They're always my cups to grab-
along with my jacket and wool throw
when enjoying a cuppa on the last
of the nice cooler weather outdoors.

Our covered patio is the perfect place for a hot cuppa, a good book,
prayer time or just a respite from all things electronic.

It's essential we unplug and unwind sometimes.

Most of my collections or tea things you've already seen
in one varying form or another.

I do forget what I have shared sometimes,
so do find it in your hearts to forgive me, please
as I know I do regurgitate duplicate pics.

And wonderful tea things I have been happily gifted,
such as this perfect birdie teacup from last year's
teacup exchange hosted by Stephanie of the blog
The Enchanting Rose.

We will be posting about this autumn's recent swap soon
so be watching for all the hoopla!

I was also gifted this amazing artisan made
ceramic turkey teapot that I posted about here

I haven't hosted a nice afternoon tea luncheon in much too long.
I am long over-due.....but am just a wee bit too tired to do it.

I need to remedy that - and soon!

Even a plain and simple everyday mug
looks nicer placed in a simple vignette.

As always, thank you so much for your visit!

Hugs and prayers!

~Michele

sweet little grand daughter visiting a pumpkin farm,

  8. Your collection of autumnal dishes is very pretty. I especially like the set in the photo just before the bird teacup. An autumn tea party would be lots of fun, but I know it takes energy and time, both of which seem to be in short supply around here, too. Have a good week!

  12. What a beautiful post, love all your tea items. Your patio is so inviting to sit a spell. We need to do that more. However, it is so bloody hot here that I am staying in doors.

Glad to see your post, take care my friend. I need to do a post soon, it's been to long.

    Hugs,

  13. How lovely to see all these beautiful fall tea things grouped together so fetchingly! (And I don't care if there happen to be any repeats. The way my mind is so overfull these days, I wouldn't remember them from the first time anyway, ha!) I'm glad you mentioned being open to the heartier ceramic pieces in the fall. I feel that way too!

  18. Oh I love them all - especially the one with the berries and autumn leaves - and the birdie - and - oh I just love them all. I don't mind if you duplicate photos - I enjoy seeing them any time - though I can't remember seeing any of these before, so it was great fun to go through all of them. Happy week ahead my dear.

  21. How lovely! 🍁You know your way around a tea time vignette! (BTW, I fixed the commenting problem yesterday. I am so happy that I am easily commenting again. And, yes, it was my fault.)

  22. Michele, your collection of china is delightful! I like a sturdy mug now and then myself especially in the cooler months. I too share repeats but I don't think anyone really minds. We tea and china lovers just enjoy seeing what we have to share. Your vignettes are wonderful. I'm especially fond of your Bittersweet??, berries pieces! Thanks for sharing and for stopping by for a visit. Enjoy your day, my friend.

  30. Oh, my eye caught that lovely old-fashioned teapot and cup in the upper right hand corner of your collage. So pretty! Yes, enjoy these beautiful days. The temps are supposed to drop here and there's snow in the forecast in the U.P. But I'm loving these cooler temps, and soon it will be time for a cozy fire. Now going to check out your previous post. xo Deborah
