Tea at the Historic Kelton House

I was lucky enough again this year to be among those
who were able to buy a ticket to attend the very popular
Annual Valentine's Tea at the Historic Kelton House.

My dear friend Sharyn and I went together.

Sharyn is the friend whom I have shared
two amazing themed tea parties she hosted.

In case you missed them you can read  my posts about them:
A British Afternoon Christmas Tea here.
and A Giverny-Monet Garden Tea here.

Here is pretty Shayn without her cute Victorian maid's outfit!

Here is the large buffet table before we hungry guests got to it.

Menu:

Asparagus & Lemon Ricotta Tarts
Savory Parmesan Short Breads
Cheesy Cauliflower Bites
Prosiutto Artichoke Canapes
Cranberry & Bacon Chicken Salad Tea Sandwiches

White Chocolate Champagne Scones

Red Velvet Cream Cheese Thumbprints
Martha Washington Chocolate Truffles
Chocolate Panna Cotta with Lavender Cream
Italian Love Heart-Shaped Love Cakes
Raspberry Cream and Chocolate Napoleans

Everything was so beautifully displayed!

  7. Hi Michele,
Oh my, what a feast! Everything looks simply splendid and what a treat to be there. I'm so glad you got to experience this with your friend and shared it with us. By the way, our little feathered friends, the gold finches, are well looked after. After Hubby jumped off the back deck into the snowbank and then dug us out, he walked through waist deep snow to get the bird feeder and brought it inside to melt the snow. My little babies will be well fed tomorrow when they come back. :) I love my little babies wearing feathers! Thanks for joining me for tea.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  24. Oh how fun Michele, to be able to attend another year at what looks to be the best tea house around.
I use to get together with a few friends here and have tea at our favorite tea room but the business during the bad economy closed its doors, and the trend of tea was just not happening around here. Seeing what fun and all the sweets you were able to enjoy makes me so miss our tea room.

Thank you dear for taking the time to visit my place and your encouraging comment settles sweetly on my heart.

See you soon, Happy late Valentine to you and yours.

    Xx
