Today I'm sharing a closer look of one of my favorite hand painted teapot trivits....you have seen before - but this time it's getting it's due - being featured! ♥
It sits upon an old doilie which is then on top of an applique embroidered tablecloth.
I like the way the greens play together.
The lower rim is painted the sweetest shade of light pink.
I sure wish I could paint, crochet and embroider! (No patience, not gonna happen.)
I simply drink my tea and admire this amazing handiwork talent of others, and feel so richly blessed to be surrounded by such beauty!

Garam masala is a mixture of dry-roasted & ground spices, containing black pepper, cloves, cumin, coriander, cinnamon and cardamoms. Qasuri meth are dried leaves of the fenugreek plant which has a slight bitter taste. Hope you can find these in the spice section of Pakistani/Indian grocery stores :)

I absolutely love the trivit! The flowers are so dainty and of course pink and green are my favorite colors. I also love the little vignette with the doily, tablecloth and teapot trivit. I think I'm trying to say this is a lovely post, Michele!

Oh Michele, I think this is the most beautiful trivit I have ever seen. The pink flower is so lovely, I can't decide what flower it is. Maybe the dogwood flower, anyway it is perfect and has such pretty leaves and vine. It looks perfect on your doile and applique embroidered tablecloth. Such a soft gentle look and a lovely post.

Love the trivet - and the table cloth and lace doily - beautiful. The greens definitely do have a play with and against each other. I love the delicate flowers and pink. Like you, I wish I wish I wish I could do all those things and more. Sometime . . . someday?
