Palm Sunday Cross

Palm Sunday finds my DH quietly weaving our palms in church.

His mother taught him, and he learned it well.

His woven cross is part of our Easter tradition.

He makes one for our daughters, too.

I keep ours hanging over the calender in the office.

It reminds us of Jesus all year long.

We also keep palms on our wall behind our stone cross.

Have a truly blessed Holy Week, my friends.

  2. Hi Michele,
Love your Easter candles! I need to learn how to make a cross out of my palm branch. It looks so complicated but I'm sure it's not too hard, right? May you have a Blessed Holy Week!

  5. What a beautiful tradition this is! i like your calendar too! My goodness I had a lot to catch up to here! You have the most beautiful tableware. I went all the way back to your rose teacups. Gorgeous! LOVE love those little square chintz birdie plates. And your Easter table is so springy with those sweet bunny plates and the blue crochet napkins! Whew! What a lot of fun you're having. I'm going to have to try to root some ivy. (But I have such a black thunb! Boo!) Thanks so much for your visits! I hope you have a wonderful Easter with your family. nice that the girls are cooking for you!

These woven crosses are just lovely! How wonderful that your husband does this every Easter. I think that is such a special and reverent thing to do.
