Daffodils - for Fresh Cut Friday!

Today's "fresh cut" flower feature is the daffodil! And aren't those lovely yellow blossoms coveted every year once they pop up their welcome sunny faces? Being one of the first flowers to to bloom, they are truly loved!

So I found a vintage nobbed milk glass vase of my daughter's in my basement storage area. She used them on each table at her wedding reception. It seems to work wonders in its simplicity with the flowers.  I may have to just borrow steal  keep ask her for one of those vases to be my very own, now that I think of it.

I think I see a paper butterfly hiding amongst those happy yellow blossoms!

Daffodils always seem to play well with others, such as this simple white teapot:

Or this spring vignette...........and if you look closely at the  pretty soup cup or wee bird house you are sure to find a subtle daffodil or two!

Here is one of my fav pics from last spring.  I know use that clock a lot too much in my posts,  but it always just makes everything look better! I like that look, I just can't help myself!

  1. This is really lovely Michele! I do love daffodils. We had a bank in our front yard covered with daffodils at our first house, and I still miss them. I'm just going to have to plant some here. :)

    Have a great weekend!

  3. I love daffodils and I love the many ways you've displayed them. I once did a whole luncheon tablesetting in daffodils. I just bet you can't guess the color of the table and accessories. (smile)
