Pink Transferware

Wanted to show off my delightful and recent thrifty find...........this sweet pinkish red transferware bud vase of The Windsor Castle.

The Round Tower at Windsor Castle

I also found a wonderful lidded teacup with convenient strainer.  I just love these mugs because they are so sturdy, hardy, keep my tea hot with the lid - and the strainer is so nice to have as part of the set.  The lid is also nice because it can be used as a handy spoon rest should you need to stir one's tea. You just use the finial on the lid to balance the spoon. Quite the nifty design, I should say.

I seldom add anything to my tea so I don't use spoons too often, but being sick I have been adding honey. It seems to help soothe my poor distressed throat...or at the very least my SPIRIT!

I know, I will hush now about being sick, but you know how misery loves company, haha.

The sweet bookmark was from my dear tea friend Pat. She makes the best cards, notes and bookmarks! I save every one of them, they are THAT good! I see a future post idea there......

I love the beautiful scroll detail on this little vase.

Even on the base one finds that lovely detail!

Heading on over to share for PINK SATURDAY!
