Teacup flowers with pink ribbon....

I absolutely, positively LOVE to put together floral arrangements in teacups. I have given many of them away as gifts, used them in various table centerpieces for clubs and such, and sold lots of them over the years.

Here is one with a pretty pink satin ribbon tied around the teacup handle.

At The Nest at Finch Rest there is almost ALWAYS a bird close by..........this one is watching from his awesome chippy happy cage.

And one may usually find a bit of pretty vintage crocheted lace of some sort..............

And sometimes when we're really lucky we find a gorgeous big 'ole pink flower blossom!

Happy Pink Saturday - heading over to How Sweet the Sound for all the pink fun now!

Joining The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays!

Heading to BoogieBoard Cottage for Masterpiece Monday!

  1. How lucky all your friends are to receive such a beautiful bouquet, they are so pretty. Later when the flowers are gone they can all have tea...

  2. That is really charming, Michele! I love the idea of that with a tablesetting or for a shower. After yesterday {and the snow showers in the forecast} I'm about ready to see some flowers!

  3. Happy Pinks, Michele! Love your little teacup arrangement! Teacups make perfect receptacles for such things. I love little birdies and lace too. We have a lot in common, you and I. Hope you're having a lovely weekend, my friend.

  9. I adore filling teacups with fresh posies, especially violas and pansies. I can't wait for spring here in New England. It's raining today, but hopefully spring flowers are right around the corner.

    Have a great Pink Saturday,

  15. What sweet gifts to make and I know the receiver so enjoys the gift! I pick up sweet little vases to fill with flowers from my garden in the Spring/Summer. We visit alot of older folks in nursing homes and shut-ins with our ministry and they so enjoy those fresh flowers. The vases I pick up for cheap so they don't have to worry about getting it back - but many times they will hand it back and ask for a refill!

  18. I love to use add pretty things for small flower arrangements, I've used sugar bowls even, but never used a teacup and I'm loving it! This makes an adorable gift. Thank you for your lovely and kind visit. I had 14 china designs at my husband's former ceramic co., he sold it 4 years ago. I've made a few posts with mine, daughter's dishes and now mother's. Wishing you a happy Sunday.

  24. Your teacup arrangement is very pretty. I know anyone receiving one of these would be pleased. The colors on the cup and the flowers are so pretty together. I'm sure it is fun picking the right flowers to match and fit a certain teacup. I've never made an arrangement in a teacup but you have given me a good idea for a future craft. Hope you have had a good weekend. The terrible storms are over so we are relaxing.-------Shannon

  27. This is just beautiful. For the first year that I gave my birthday luncheons I gave each person a teacup with a small fresh arrangement in it and put it at their place. And then read the story of the teacup. Another year I used a cup in a little different way. You've reminded me that I should blog it. Once again you've inspired me. Oh how I love you girlfriend!!
